Supporting Local Heritage and Environment

CSI is proud to partner with Cambridge Past, Present & Future, a cherished local charity dedicated to preserving heritage and green spaces. We are actively involved in their project of planting 4,000 new trees at Wandlebury and Coton.

Understanding that planting is just the beginning, we contribute to the ongoing care of these woodlands with every fireplace purchase. This support aids in crucial maintenance tasks like tree support, weed control, and protection from grazing animals, especially vital in the trees' early years.

Sponsoring Local Sports and Events

Our community engagement includes sponsoring local sports teams and events, reflecting our commitment to local youth and community spirit:

Previous Full Sponsorship of the home kit for Histon Hornets under 7s football team.
Main sponsor of the Histon Hornets annual tournament in 2018.
Previous sponsorship of the away kit for Histon Hornets under 11s football team.
Continued sponsorship of Cambridgeshire FA, helping grass roots football for all ages.
Helping support Cambridgeshire FA to support “The sick children trust”

Charitable Activities and Donations

CSI's charitable efforts are diverse and impactful:

Donations to Children in Need, driven by engagement on our Facebook page.
Sponsorship of a football match for Great Ormond Street Hospital, including the event, home team kit, and match ball.
Support for the Simon Dobbin football match in Ely, aiding a victim of a tragic attack, with the participation of former Premier League football stars.

Support During Challenging Times

Recognizing the hardships faced during the COVID-19 pandemic, we conducted giveaways to uplift spirits, dedicating one specifically to NHS staff members. These gestures of goodwill reflect our dedication to the well-being of our community.

Open to New Opportunities for Support

We are always on the lookout for new ways to contribute to the Cambridgeshire community. Whether it's an event, community project, or a cause in need of sponsorship, we welcome emails and proposals. While we cannot support every initiative, we promise to consider each request and offer our support where possible.
